Located in the heart of Cologne’s Volksgarten, the Orangerie Theater combines historical architecture with contemporary art. The listed building, originally constructed as a garden villa on the remnants of the Prussian fortification Lünette 3, was discovered in 1990 by the artist collective Healing Theatre – a turning point in the building’s history.
